For hundreds of years, Turkish towels have been one of the most essential parts of the households in Anatolia.
- Made from premium Turkish cotton and bamboo, and compared to the regular towels they dry faster.
- 50% Cotton 50% Bamboo
- 90x190 cm
What makes them unique is their incredible lightness and outstanding design. They can be used in various areas from regular bath towels to yoga mat covers or from wall tapestry to beach towels. Our towels do not collect damp smells and they are completely absorbent. They are the perfect beach towels as you can easily shake the sands right off.
When used as yoga mat covers they will keep the mat in place and provide a non-slip surface for your yoga moves. The material is really absorbent which will soak up sweat quickly, and will dry very fast.
Also, they are more compact compared to the regular towels which makes them easy to carry around. Since our towels are designed to last a lifetime, they are more cost-efficient in the long run.
Inspired by the colourful patterns of nature, we started this Anatolian cultural revival project. Psychetolia aims to empower local women by encouraging their artisanal works.
Based in London, Psychetolia is ready to connect you with ancient arts of local people from generous Mesopotamia to heroic Aegean Sea. We try to blend the traditional fabrics and methods of our ancestors with modern forms and designs of urban aesthetics.
Psychetolia is not only a brand but actually a representation of the complete identity of Anatolian culture with its music, literature, people and values. We want to form a community in which people can enjoy themselves while being introduced to this colourful and remarkable world of Anatolia.
Psychetolia is a proud supporter of Who Made My Clothes campaign.
The campaign aims to raise awareness about the way our clothes are sourced, produced and consumed through uniting people and organisations to work together so that our clothing is made in a safe, clean and fair way. To learn more about this movement, you can click here.
